Sorry for being away for so long. Been touching grass since May and this holiday season has been exhausting with my IRL job. Everyone at my job is doing triple the work since they only hired half of the amount of seasonal workers from last year, so trying to make art is difficult when you're in physical pain.
Once the holiday season officially ends I'll be able to work on artwork at the start of next year. Until then, hope you guys have a very Merry Christmas!
A year ago and January of this year I got an update from the U.S. Dept. of Education about the discharge of my student loans due to the lawsuit involving the Art Institutes years ago. At that time I hadn't seen any movement except having a "Borrowers Defense" number. Just yesterday I received a letter that as of now about two-thirds of my loan has been discharged and is still continuing since it's going to take awhile.
Can't wait to see when my debt reaches zero and I can finally move on with my life.
Thanks for all the likes and follows + the Sheezy Spotlight! Was really unexpected. I should have some new art for you guys soon.

You've just been gnomed!
Haven't been on here in a hot minute. My mother was in stage 5 kidney failure and on the kidney transplant list for about 3 years... until a few weeks ago when she received a new kidney! The only sad news is that the organ donor was from someone who passed away (was hoping they were a live donor but that's even rarer and usually from family). My mother was told previously that it might take at least 7 years on the list to get one, so I'm glad that she was able to get one sooner!
Once everything has settled and we know for sure my mother's body is accepting the new organ, my family is hoping to send a card to the donor family if we can. I know my mother is going to do everything she can to keep the new kidney healthy so the organ donation won't be in vain. My mother also has to be quarantined for 3 months due to bodily changes of taking immunosuppressant drugs so her body doesn't reject the organ and until then each member of my family is taking turns watching over her.
I'm hoping to post when I can! Have a good one!
