ANCIENT fanart I did for the chronicle of the dark star series by Kevin Emerson, my all time favourite book series (and the book series I taught myself to write with!). For whatever reason this series is so overlooked that this is actually the first piece of fanart ever done for it, and it's still the only fanart that shows up when you search the series on google.
Easily my 1# art piece that I want to redraw someday, especially since my headcanons for how the protagonists look has changed significantly since then.
If you like hard sci-fi go read it btw you won't be disappointed, it's fantastically written and is still one of the few pieces of media that consistently makes me cry.
