some concept sketches for a hypothetical character for a hypothetical fighting or survival game with a sea-related theme! the Monkey (she/her) essentially bosses Sextant (he/him) around xD

this was my submission for one of the tasks in a gamedev org i'm currently applying to in uni! the word/picture prompts (given by either the org's members or a fellow applicant) i used were:

• "war between voyagers"
• a photo of a sailor using a sextant
• a photo of a Yoshi piggybacking another Yoshi
• a gif of a person on top of a tree while eating something

maybe i'll make rendered portraits of them one day...
