Heya, Cille here!
This is a side profile dedicated to one of my beloved special interests, Miscrits!

This profile is still pretty much a work in progress, so expect changes here and there!

I plan to use this profile to document some Miscrit shenanigans and put out my Miscrits-related ramblings, including my inner world that invovles my Miscrits and my headcanons! (yes, that includes my fan characters there!)

All stuff related to my Miscrit characters and worldbuilding in my Miscrian paracosm will be tagged #themiscriandiamond here and in my main profile.

Hopefully there will be a feature to "mirror"/duplicate artworks in side profiles so that I don't have to reupload everything, but for now, if you wanna view my Miscrits artworks and fanworks (and maybe my own designs that are not in the game), please search the #miscrits tag in my main gallery!

(part of the reason for this is that i want all of my artworks in one place, namely my main's gallery, as a sort of gallery/portfolio for quick view.)

As always, using tone tags towards me is appreciated!

(Official Miscrit assets (sprites and backgrounds) used in this profile are sourced from either the Miscrits Wiki, the new-gen Miscripedia page, or the old version of the World of Miscrits site.)

What the heck do my words mean? /lh

(I tend to distinguish between both versions of the Miscrits game, which obviously have their differences, so--)

I use "legacy" or "original" when referring to the original Miscrits game in Facebook (2011–2017) or any Miscrit introduced during that time.

In the context of my own paracosm, "original" pertains to the world of the original game (i.e., "original Miscria"; Miscria is the canon name of the world). That, or any of the Miscrits I owned in the original/legacy game, which also includes any of them that arrived in Parallel Miscria.

On the other hand, "new-gen" (new-generation) is a term I would use for the revival of the Miscrits game (2024–present). Sometimes I also say "Reborn," which was actually a term used by the devs themselves (i.e., "Miscrits Reborn") before going live on iOS for the first time, though term has been dropped ever since.

In the context of my own paracosm, I use "Parallel" instead, as it is an alternate universe of sorts of the original Miscria. "Parallel" usually pertains to the world of the new-gen game (i.e., "Parallel Miscria") or a parallel version of any of my original Miscrits. (Note that some Parallels may be of a different species than their originals, so may not have "Parallel" prefixed to their name.)

Other terms I use (in alphabetical order):
  • Fan character (FC): The proper term for any of my Miscrits OCs, really. I just wanna be clear on that. (/lh)
  • Regular: The "plain," "default," or "vanilla" version of a Miscrit (i.e., a nonvariant; e.g., Cubsprout, Kiloray). Taken from Dark Fairyblossom's Miscripedia entry that mentions "regular Fairyblossoms."
  • Transmutation: Any physical change (and, sometimes, memory changes/loss) that a Miscrit has undergone either as a consequence of the travel from the Original Miscria to Parallel Miscria, or during their stay in Parallel Miscria. There are a few recorded instances of Parallel Miscrits undergoing Transmutation, however.
  • Variant: Any Miscrit that is derived from a regular Miscrit. Can one of be Blighted, Dark, Elite (legacy game only), Foil, Light, Petrified, Primal (Reborn only; select Miscrits, as Global Bosses), or the Halloween costume ones (Boo, Grimm, Pirate Rocker, Scarecrow, Vamp), which is affixed at the start of a Miscrit's species name (e.g., Dark Cubsprout, Grimm Kiloray).
  • [Note: Usually I only talk about official variants that exist in either the legacy or new-gen game. I will specify if a particular Miscrit variant is something I just made up (e.g., I can make up a Petrified Cubsprout if I wanted to).]
