She's beyond competent as a healer, stubborn as a dolyak, and the kindest person you'll ever meet. For all the hurt the world has handed her, she's given it back tenfold in care. It's hard to get close to her, as I'm sure you've noticed; she keeps people at arm's length to try to protect them, and to protect her heart... but when you do manage it, you will find a loyalty that runs deeper than the lines of magic in our world themselves. Just remember to never underestimate her strength, and know that kindness is not the same as meekness. Be good to her, Commander. My niece is all I've left in this world, and beyond that, she has suffered more than enough."

Thinking about my sweet girl Kippa as she's been developing even more recently, and Gixx talking about his niece to my (soon to be former) Inquest commander Rhenn around Season 3 as they were starting to get close. For all she's suffered, all she has ever chosen to do in response is to love the world all the deeper... even if it means blocking off her heart from it to keep from hurting worse.
