The more I think about how art-centric spaces are a rarity in the internet space these days it has me thinking about SheezyArt and how it's basically the only art site where the focus is community and art sharing. And it really makes me appreciate it being here! (The OCSky community on Bluesky comes close- but it's also a Social Media site first and foremost afkjhaslf)

I post my art on my site, Bluesky, and occasionally on Tumblr if I remember, but.. while the communities there are nice- it makes me miss having a site purely for art sharing. Art can exist on social media but it's not the place for it if you know what I mean!!! I think, if it's not on a dedicated site (personal sites count!!), it can easily get swept up and passed by the general nature of social media and thatttt sucks.

Anyway!!!!! I'd really like to use SheezyArt more and interact with the community more here too!! I also lowkey miss the fun vibes old school deviantART had akfdsjfhs and Sheezy's doing a great job at bringing that vibe back + more! Expect to see more art poasts from ME!!
