“Crested Archeops are rare after the Pokemon, Archen, is restored from its fossilized status and evolves. At first, it was believed that only revived males had the crests, but some females have been known to form these crests upon evolving. There are current debates in the scientific community on whether or not Crested Archeops should be considered a different ‘breed’ of the Pokemon. Still, there is not enough evidence to support this decision. One day, I just thought, “What would Archeops look like with a feathered crest?” I ended up with a whole page full of them. Of course, I had Emmet's get the pretty crest, and he deserves it (despite being a rascal).
