I already posted this to my ToyHouse, but I'm posting this here too in case you guys don't follow me there!

So... I feel like my entire content has revolved around Zelda for as much as I can remember. I mean just look at all my OCs. Actually, Zelda might be the only fandom I've ever actually actively engaged with and been in for several years. But as of late, I've found myself really finding Zelda to be boring. And it's not because of the fandom either. The fandom's great! I love seeing everyone's art and fanfics and OCs especially.

But I'm gonna be completely honest, I haven't touched my Switch (2) in months. I never finished Age of Imprisonment. I just don't see the reason to. I haven't touched a mainline Zelda since I finished TotK. Which is a LONG time.

I really, really think that the Wild era needs to end, and quick. I know it's ending but I literally can't be excited for any Zelda content unless you give me a brand new era entirely. New Link, new Zelda, new Ganondorf (YES, GanonDORF, because I want him to show up in modern Zelda more often. TotK didn't do him justice).

So, what I want to say is I've been obsessed with a little game called Expedition 33. You might not have heard of it. Totally didn't sweep TGA or sell like millions of copies or anything...

ANYWAY. My art might be more focused on E33 and my original story I've got going. I'm really going to put my Zelda OCs on the backburner until I feel inspired to work with the Wild era again, because I'm really hating the Wild era right now. I would work on TP, but there isn't any inspiration at all, and I'm still not sure how to worldbuild with the Twilight Realm. Any advice is appreciated though!!! I would love to work on my Twili considering that I have so many of them!

But yeah. Expect to see more of my OG story OCs (Canista, Egan, Fred, Jake, etc.) in the future. I really want to start doing more with them and bring my story out of the long hiatus it's been in since 2020. It's been hard to write it with what I've been through with someone regarding it, because now I start wondering if that person is still doing what they're doing, and that people will think they got the ideas first and that I'm the copycat (which isn't the case, I'm really paranoid about that kind of thing. You gotta remember I've been coming up with this stuff since 5th grade and here I am in college). I hope those that followed/subscribed to me for my Zelda content aren't too disappointed. I just need a break from LoZ in general. CO: E33 OCs might come up? I'd need to figure out how to work around it's solid worldbuilding too if I want to fit them in. I'm totally not obsessed with this game right now.

Anyway, that's just a quick status update. Expect some OG story!
