I got two new friends today for my educational/conservation program, Salamander With A Sign. These guys are pretty stinking rare. A threatened species due to loss of habitat and poaching for the pet trade. We searched for months on end for Western Barred Tiger Salamanders like these ones. They are so hard to find. So I think they need hard to find names. Cryptid names perhaps? Or names that reflect how elusive they are.

We've got one male and one female! The plan is to breed them for the conservation project. What should we call them?
