I did mention at one point (elsewhere, I think) using more pre-made patterns and such. I did start doing that a little, but I still also draw a lot by hand. This was kinda me messing around with premade stuff though (mostly)

I've joked about owning a lot of plaid but that's more an extension of me liking button-ups and patterns.
Plaid's just one I have fun drawing since doing the stripes are simple but I can complicate it as much as I choose

Stripes are just what I do for plaid anyway, and checkers kinda take a few extra steps that are sometimes annoying. So I'm just used to doing plaid and now it's kinda my go-to. Whoopsie.

Anyway since I mentioned checkers, there's that brush near the bottom left I really like and have used it a little in past drawings. it's quick and has a really good texture- which is kinda another reason I like hand-doing patterns and such. the texture/hand-drawn lines just have their own character.

I wanna make some of my own pattern brushes/pre-made patterns- kind of like that one I just talked about or handdrawn patterns or whatever
making that's a lot of work though :[
