Back when I made this drawing during AF2024 I said "I had this idea a long time ago about making references of what each of my splatoon ocs look like under blacklight (idk if cephalopods glow under blacklight, I tried looking it up at the time but I did not get any answers), and another idea I had was sanitized octolings have a bit of the sanitized ink texture on their skin. Combining the two, that texture would glow under blacklight"

I focused more on the combination of the two in that last one. I didn't wanna do a blacklight for this actually but I did want to revisit that idea and I did @PeacockFeatheredRaccoon's Haru again because...
I mean I don't really draw or much less post my sanitized guys much but also I don't like that old drawing much!

I talked about how I purposely fucked up the foreshortening because I wanted more points on the attack and also I really messed up the effect there- I didn't remember how to get the effects I wanted and I got lazy there so it just looks badly done

I also used the actual sanitized ink texture from the game here rather than something random. I think it looks cool
