The prompt this month was "What is your favorite music genre" and for me the answer is Dungeonsynth!
I tried my hand at creating a dungeonsynth song, but I personally think I still have a ways to go. This is a genre that mixes medieval style music with some sort of ambient synth, and I find it really beautiful and somewhat nostalgic for old RPG games.
I composed this song in LMMS, and the ocean sound is from this sample: https://freesound.org/people/bpayri/sounds/245142/
Intruments used:
- Concert Harp
- Florestan String Quartet
- Woodwinds
- Tambourine
- Juno Lead Synth (idk where i got it from)
- AnalogBell which comes bundled with LMMS
The cover/thumbnail art was drawn by me.
I hope you enjoy this little song! This challenge was a nice way to try out new things :D
