Literally just a few minutes after I made my previous journal entry talking about losing power lmao
I'm hoping it stays for good but I'm gonna take advantage of it and charge my phone and other stuff while I can.
This hurricane was pretty scary honestly o_o There were times where I thought my roof was going to be blown off by the strong winds. Some trees fell over and broke some fences and another tree fell on the street, but other than that, we're ok!
Just a quick update on my current situation: I currently don't have any power (I lost power this morning) so my art fight attacks are on hold until I get power back ;~;
I'm trying not to use my phone too much in order to save battery power but I just wanted to give an update on what I'm going through and why you might not hear from me for a while.
I finally joined artfight a few days ago! It'll be my very first time participating in it so I'm pretty excited! Check out my profile here! As someone who has never participated in artfight before and has only seen other people do it, should I finally try it this year?? Is it fun? Can it be overwhelming? Is it worth it? Is it easy for newbies to get into? I'd like to hear how other artists feel about it! （╹◡╹）
Also, do you need to have reference sheets for each character or would a single full body image be enough? (I ask because uhhhh... all of my ref sheets are pretty outdated at this point except for maybe one and I haven't gotten around to drawing any new ones yet... (￣▽￣||) heh)
