Yep, it be another journal meme. This time about my OCs, because I have many - too many, probably - and it's rare that I ever get to talk about 'em.
1.) Which of your characters represent you the most?
It's somewhat of a tie between Dali and Rusty. Rusty mainly because... well, she's me. She's my fursona. She's been there since before I even knew what a fursona is. So, yeah, you know what: I'm just going to go with Rusty. Because there's something special about the fact that I've kept her around for so long and she's also grown with me.
2.) Which of your characters represent you the least?
Probably Mozart. Mainly because she's based on my sister and is deliberately a stereotype of a teenager growing up in the late 2000s/early 2010s. I'm just a sucker for seeing that aesthetic around when the internet was a tad happier place.
3.) What is your favorite design you made?
Oof, it's hard for me to pick an all-time favourite. I'm pretty pleased with my design for Effulgence, a lion OC from my comic. I've also just always been a sucker for "split coloured" designs, if that's the right term for such things.
4.) What is your favorite design you own?
Probably Sweetorange, my lion 'sona. Mainly because her design was entirely randomised by this here lion generator and yet she's turned out so perfect when it comes to representing me as a character.
5.) What is your biggest yet-to-obtain dreamy?
I haven't really come across one yet. Most of the designs I like, I either snap up or ask to put on hold because they're mostly by my friends and my friends are super chill about that sort of thing. <33
6.) What is your most prized achieved dreamie?
Don't have one.
7.) What is your oldest character?
Rusty. Had her since somebody on an AOFW forum I was on drew her design up for me back in 2005. I had a cool art mutual of mine - heychikinan - update her a few years back though.
8.) What is your newest character?
Oh, I'm coming up with new OCs near constantly so that's pretty hard to answer. At the time of me writing this, it's Laron Rennes, a Sly Cooper OC.
9.) Favorite feral character you own?
Dali, my main mascot, of course!
10.) Favorite human(oid) character you own?
Technically Reed, my Wolfwalkers OC, since she has a human version that I certainly still need to design. lol
11.) Favorite anthro character you own?
Jake Cooper, my main Sly Cooper OC.
12.) First original species character you obtained?
Never got into the original species circuit so I don't have any OCs in that regard.
13.) What character do you plan to shower with love next?
Whoever's style meme I manage to finish, I guess! I have one going for Dali, Rusty and Sweetorange each. lol
14.) What character holds the most $$$ value?
I don't like putting a monetary value on my characters until I actually have to consider selling them, which isn't done lightly.
15.) What character has the most art?
Dali, for sure. I certainly went on a spree with both of his designs. lol
16.) What character has the most favorites?
Sweetorange! Which makes sense, considering she's my main OC for my comic and my OCs for my comic often get favourited quite a bit.
17.) Any characters you co-own?
Any characters in my webcomic, which I co-own with its co-creator. c:
18.) If you had to give up all your ocs but one, which would you keep?
I honestly couldn't choose between Dali and Rusty. Probably Dali because I've just always been consistently happy with him and what he represents and it took me a while to finally settle on a mascot that I liked.

Any of the OCs in this here folder. I have a lot. lol
20.) Your smartest character?
Stanley, a Chihuahua OC I have, is supposed to be your standard supersmart nerd character so probably him.
21.) Your clumsiest character?
A lion OC I have who is literally named Clumsy lolol
22.) Your evilest character?
Gary, no contest. He's an evil poltergeist who represents my mental illness as a whole so that tracks.
23.) Your sweetest character?
Dali.
24.) Do you have a season/holiday themed character?
Merry from my comic is based off Father Christmas. lol
25.) A character you are currently wanting to rehome more than any?
Probably some deer designs I've got lying around but I'm still somewhat attached to.
26.) Which of your character's names do you like most?
Pretty much everybody. I'm all about meaningful names and I try and put some thought into each and every one.
27.) Which character have you drawn most?
Dali, easily. He's my baby boi mascot so it tracks.
28.) Any hybrid characters?
Jake is a raccoon-fox-coyote hybrid and absolutely looks nothing like it ofc lol
A personal headcanon I had when I was a kid is that hybrids in the Sly Cooper universe only inherit certain attributes from their parents and certain traits have more dominant genes than others. It's basically a lazy excuse to have hybrids that still ultimately resemble raccoons but I'm keeping it!
29.) Your most unique character?
None of my characters really comes to mind as "unique". They all have qualities that have been done time and time again and I'm chill with that. Nothing is original nowadays! c:

I'll actually sit down and comment on the work that I've got in my likes and try and be part of the community spirit here. I remember doing this without fail on DeviantART before the Eclipse nation attacked so I really need to stop being sloppy and start it up here. lol
Speaking of which, I finally bailed on DA and Twitter this year and it's honestly done my mental health wonders. I don't think I need to go into too much dirty laundry as to why both places just weren't good for me. Twitter formed the basis for a traumatic time in my life, I hated being on there (only stuck it out for as long as I did because everybody I knew was using it) and every second spent on it was anxiety-inducing.
DA is just more of a sad case. I just miss what it used to be like an ache. I'm glad this place and Bluesky are here to fill the void because old!DA had that spark that really got my creativity flowing.
Nothing else to really report in terms of a life update. I haven't felt particularly productive this year and that sucks because I think I started out things on a strong note. Also, Pokemon has taken up a lot of time recently. Blame that.
Speaking of Pokemon, y'all should absolutely keep checking out my bae - senpai-tuba - because her and her work is a massive part of why this place feels somewhat like home to me. Always so happy to get a notif from Roxi because both she and her work are awesome. Love her face always. c:

I've been in a rut pretty much most of this year due to debt hanging over my head but I'm happy to report that my final payment for it is this month and I can hardly wait. It's gonna be such a load off and is gonna allow me to get back on track with building up my savings after pouring what little money I had into my new apartment. I've been able to survive quite adequately from month to month so I know I could've been in a much worse situation, but it still sucked nonetheless.
I actually went ahead and treated myself to a new iPad Mini this month too. Not gonna use it to doodle or anything because I found it really wasn't for me when I bought an Air a few years back, which I sold after a while. Kinda wish I'd kept it now in hindsight but I only paid 60 for this Mini so can't complain.
Either way, major kudos to those who can draw on iPads because I really couldn't master it. lolol

Due to DA just being a complete glitchy cesspit and just being awful for reasons that are well documented by now, I want to spend as little time there as possible and be hands-off aside from the occasional upload so I'm truly happy Sheezy is around to provide a suitable alternative.
