I am actually not the biggest fan of Opposing Force. I felt it had a lot of issues with pacing and player direction. It was constant combat with no breaks in between, and for most of the game Shephard is just kind of wandering around aimlessly. However, I did often like to think "What if instead of Race X being its own thing, they were a vanguard force for the Combine, probing the situation before the Real Invasion." And then I forgot about it until today when I drew this "Combine Shock Trooper". They have the Vortigaunt slave collars and a skimpy Shu'Ulathoi Jumpsuit, because it slays. 4/8/24
