Jason was much different as a child than he is now and was known in elementary school by his teachers for picking fights with kids who picked on other kids. He didn't really have friends since most kids were scared of him, even the ones he stuck up for, but when Logan moved to his school, the two immediately clicked. Logan also had trouble making friends due to his adhd, so the two were basically the other's only friend. This was the case for several years and the two basically became like brothers.
