Buuuut a doctor is someone with a doctorate so this fits.

In the DG universe, when a hero registers, they have a mandatory check up and test where a bunch of scientists specialized in the natural super phenomenon kinda... poke and prode at the hero, and make them go through some intense, X-Men training room level, tests.

This is to make sure the hero knows the full potential of their power aaaaaaand as a form of trust as now the authorities will have their specific power analysis.... you know... in case you go rogue...

Anyways, scientists fascinated by supers tend to be a bit intense...
