Chat Control, the bill that would scan all methods of communications, including end to end encrypted ones to to """""protect the children""""" was approved by the Law Enforcement Working Party behind closed doors. If you're an EU citizen you should be furious, as this is extremely undemocratic.

Fight Chat Control's website has all the info you need. While it gives you templates to send emails, calling reps is always more effective. Please don't let them get away with this. Call them every day. Send them messages every day. Flood them with all you have. Give them hell for approving fascist bill. Cause that's essentially what Chat Control is. And don't be fooled. This was never about protecting the children. A job to monitor something like this is a pedophile's dream.
I may live in Norway which isn't a part of the European Union, but I'm technically a EU citizen since I'm a Polish citizen, and even if I weren't I'd still care about this as bills like this always spill over. Look at the UK. Now other countries are considering similar bills. Never think "this will never happen to my country".
Never comply in advance. Take action, and be loud and annoying about it.
Hey folks, how has it been going?
I wanted to post a journal to let you guys know that I'm on Bluesky! I've been there since summer of last year but there's been a steady flow of new users from Twitter and other social media since the beginning of this month! As I mentioned in my last journal I've gotten rid of all of my Twitter accounts and will no longer be using that website in any way. My Instagram account is also gone.

Just wanted to announce that I've deactivated my Instagram and Twitter accounts and no longer have accounts on those websites. If you see any duskvortex users on those websites it's not me.
I've also deactivated the Twitter account for my game, Legacy of Elements, but you can still join its Discord server. Updates are sparse as I'm busy with real life and learning gamedev and programming as I go but you can join if you want to chat with me on off topic channels.

On top of that, I decided to recently finally start working on a video game! It's an idea that's been bouncing at the back of my mind for over a decade and I decided to finally start working on it back in April. It's very early in development and I have to learn gamedev and programming as I go, but I'm willing to go through with it. For those worried about the scope size: no worries, I'm trying to make it a small endeavor so I can get it to its finish line.
Currently, it has a Twitter page and a Discord server.
However, as I'm going to be busy with art fight in July I'm not gonna work much on the game, but work will resume when July is over.

EDIT: Twitter got back to me and I got access to my account again
just a headsup folks but I've lost access to my twitter account on @duskvortex. I basically lost my 2FA code through sheer stupidity and I cannot log back in and I forgot to save the backup code. and googling has yielded results of people who've contacted twitter support and not gotten any response and had to create a new account so yeah. I guess I'm fucked
