partway through the heatwave last week i was like "maybe i can get the tablet set up nicely somewhere else", since my usual set-up wasn't exactly cool, and i definitely tried but it was hard to get it to work comfortably. this is what i managed to do before i had to just give it up. i actually did this the same day i changed up my profile layout and a decent few days after i had pivoted to playing anji (though i'm still definitely going to mess around with everyone and circle back eventually)

i know my handwriting is messy, so for anyone curious, transcriptions with context (in square brackets during the quotes, normal parentheses outside of them) where i feel it could help

• top left, dark gray: "No ref" (after breaking down his design and basically committing it to memory in the preceding days)
• top left, thinner text: "i don't think he ever has a scabbard [in this design] but i thought the pose was fun"
• top, red: "fixes" (red corresponds to corrections made after the initial drawing, redrawn near the error)
• blue text, left: "(what i had the instinct to draw)"
• corresponding brown text: "<- Can only retain fragments of a Dustloop page at any given time"
• blue text, right: "how it actually is"
• corresponding brown text: "(panic between looking at screen to make sure the game didn't start & at phone to make sure rtl is 632146H (it is))"
