it's been a little while! i meant to post these earlier in general, but in particular i meant to post this during the past week but couldn't because i had to replace the battery on my laptop which was where i had everything compiled into single images. anyways, for a little while i drew animals from memory in alphabetical order and i think changing up my subject matter (i mainly draw things that are at least human-adjacent) helped me think more about the way i approach things, the same way that working with limitations i don't usually have did. i forget where the idea of the "mind horse" came from, but that was part of why i settled on drawing animals just from memory so i wanted to make sure i at least got through one horse attempt, but pretty soon after that i fizzled out on it
