this is one of my fave pages from a zine project @capegloam and i worked on together. the writing and character is hers, the art is mine (credit where it's due, mason also helped with/totally carried the colors on this one)

the zine is called "the heart's a prism" and it's about marty (the doggy pictured) struggling to make art and having emotions too big for his body, and the whole thing is mostly illustrated poetry that follows his little character arc.
