The Thousand-Year Door remake is getting very close, and I am getting very excited! I'm absolutely adoring the graphics upgrades we've seen across the board, especially the expressive character animations and modern style papercraft environment design. Seriously, the game world looks so much more immersive and I can't wait to explore it again.
This was a pretty tricky drawing. I referenced the original level model for this scene in order to figure out the perspective, then for the colors and textures more closely followed what we've seen of the remake so far. In total, I spent nearly a month on this.
