this piece is inspired by a room in a building that I slithered into after the doors locked.

it was past midnight, and there was no one else in the building. I remember messing around with the light switches for the corridors.

what fascinated me about this room is how bright the lights outside the windows were, and how dark the room was despite it. even more interesting was how I could not pinpoint the source of the light, even to this day. It was pitch black outside when I went to look; why was there light outside when viewed inside this room?

the photos I took of that room don't feel real. I remember being asked how I edited the photos; they weren't edited.
