Rook "I want to be like you when I grow up!"

Jay "If that's the case, then I better see you on the field one day!"

Wanted to draw a griffin version of the Rookidee, like I had drawn a Hippogriff version of Sobble and well this ended up happening.

Been dubbing the Rookidee inspired griffin kid 'Rook' I like to imagine that he was one of the local kids that Jay (Blue Griffin Scout) knew back in Manehattan in 'Little Griffinstone' area and help coach in what ever the local sport is there. Anyway the kid looked up to him and they had a sort of older brother/younger brother dynamic, something that would sadly end when Jay is forced to be a part of the Red vs Blue wars
