Sooo it happened AGAIN. Despite a year, trying to make sure this WOULDN'T happen again, all the drainage attempts were insufficient for the back-to-back days of rain and suddenly BAM there is a flash flood coming through our back door.

Fortunately the rain has finally cleared off to give us the chance to bail things out a bit, but there is still so much to clean up, and it's going to take time before things return to normal. We won't know the full extent of the damage to furniture until the morning and we get a chance to dry things out a bit, but worst case we will need to replace things, we need to redo the floor in places where the paint has lifted, and there's lots of things I am allergic to - mould. So my sister will have to do the bulk of the cleaning while I help pay for repairs and replacements.

That's where I need your guys assistance. My work computer was not in the room that was flooded so I can still do some commission work, but I am very drained, so combined with the other things going on with my mother being sick and other financial issues at home, this is just another thing I didn't need. So I will take commissions, but I am probably going to be a lot slower getting stuff done than usual, so I ask for your patience.
