I had the idea of a monstrous Charlie, the de facto power of Hell as Lucifer would be gravely wounded during an attack from Heaven, leaving him unable to exert his strength over the denizens of the lands below. Charlie would take up the mantle after forcing her "halves" together, searing her right half, and leaving her left half untouched, relatively speaking. This unification of her power, her angelic and demonic heritage becoming one, and the sworn vengeance upon the Heavens, would be the driving factor for her story going forward.
