It was my favorite AoSTH episode since I love mermaids and Merna is my favorite AoSTH character.

I drew her differently since she looks too much like a gender-bend Sonic recolor with a mermaid tail. I gave her long flowing hair that was perched up with a crown of pearls and instead of a belt-like trim, I gave her a flowing fin much like Arie from The Little Mermaid. I liked the way I drew her, except for her hands. I tried drawing big hands in Sonic style but it didn't come out right. :(

I used mostly Faber Castell colored pencils along with some inks, Copic, and Prisma Markers. I couldn't use a darker marker for her sea blue skin because I don't have the right color marker for it as the ones I owned are way too dark and it doesn't match the skin very well. :/

I used white watercolor paint for her eyes and the highlights for her pearls.

Keep in mind, it's been a long time since I've used colored pencils and markers so it still needs work. :/
