In the early 1920's, little Kitlat here rose to fame when he singlehandedly killed a king cobra that was terrorizing his town of Baguio. Since then, he had been held a local hero, and his name spread across the Philippines for his noble deed. Today, with his act of heroism boosting a career of show-fighting, he eventually settled into theater and stardom; the face of downtown Manilla's prestigious davenports and seaside theatres. He isn't world famous, but in his heart feels he is, and least to say his time in the spotlight has gone to his head a bit, although he's a well meaning fellow.
However, this all changes when the lonely Ms. Atarah, his rock and primary manager, plans to move on from show business. Worst yet, she doesn't intend to hand off the davenport to him.. but instead plans sell it and give most her assets to her only remaining family: an scrappy orphan from down the river. He will not allow this.
