I drew this guy as SILLY mlp character lol. aside from that, Wildfire is a horse from old America and was familiar with indigenous people like the Lakota.
I got a lot of different sources, some telling me different things, and it's hard to narrow down to the specificity of a tribe because they all had different beliefs. But all of his markings and the feathers in his ear have certain values and meanings regarding who he is. A bluebird feather for joy and happiness, and a falcon feather for accomplishing something great, on top of speed and soulfulness. I'm having a lot of fun trying to research more about his role and what feathers he'll earn in time.
