I felt compelled to do something with watercolor on a dark background and so this is what came out of that! Kida's crystallization from atlantis: the lost empire. One of my favorite visuals in a disney movie

I sketched out the basic shape, lowered the opacity, and then painted over the sketch. Afterwards I just went over the outlines with a smaller brush. No glow effects/overlays were used! Just lighter and lighter tones haha
