I often paint this character but haven’t written much about him until now. Meet Ney'rò ri Se'èl (or Nero for short), a shapeshifting divine being known as a lae'èll. The lae'èll are the 'soldiers of Fate' and protect the mortal realm from demons and anomalies.
Beyond that, they also guard the gate to the spirit realm—a gateway that can only be reached by those lost in the woods and no hope of finding their way back.

In these encounters, lae'éll often take the form of wolves, guiding wanderers back to civilization.
