Ohmygod!! I can do digital art again soon!!
My laptop finally got replaced
(the manufacturers apparently couldn't figure out how to fix my laptop - which is weird)
and finally, after literal months, they agreed to send me a replacement. It just came yesterday, and firstly, it's perfect! No more lag! No more flickering screen! No more weird discoloration that makes everything look slightly off and too bright all the same time and hurts my eyes!
And best of all, of course... I can finally draw again!! God, I've missed digital art so much! It's been months, I've felt like I was losing my mind - and this happened just in time, 'cause in a couple weeks it'll be ten years since I made Tri, and I have to draw something for her!
I might be sneaking on here during class. Anyways!
I haven't been able to draw in FOREVER because my dumb laptop broke (screen started flickering, but that's fixed now - but my CPU is completely out of control and I have no clue how to fix that mess), and I'd do more traditional art but my papers keep getting all messed up - plus, I don't have a sketchbook at all anymore. ...I really ought to get a sketchbook.
But it's been driving me nuts! I need to make SOMETHING, but I dunno what to draw, and my usual mediums aren't available! It's so annoying...
On a different note entirely, I've been on a bit of a 90s/2000s shoujo anime kick lately? I dunno where that's coming from, but they've been really on my mind!
...Ah, oops. Class is really starting now. Gotta go.
So I've been sick for the past, like, week now and man I'm so tired of being sick. I'm too tired to draw or write, but that's also all I want to do, but I can't because I just don't have any energy for it!! (￣﹏￣；)
So since I can't draw, I've mostly been messing with that "this is not a website" site for the gravity falls book, and that's been pretty fun! Plus, there's a splatfest happening rn so I've been playing splatoon a lot (I'm team pasta!!).
Oh!! I also came up with another OC for the little world/story/whatever I'm making with Tri and Ben, so that happened too! They've kinda just been a Concept in my head where I was like "yeah I'm thinking there should be This Many characters and one of them should fill This Type of role" and some vague ideas of what their personality could be like, but the other day I was listening to a song and all of a sudden I just! had more ideas! and now they're a lot more developed than they were before - still need a name, though... But they have a design now! Which is great because I've been stuck on that for awhile...
I do hope that this stupid illness stuff goes away soon though since I have Things that I need to Get Done and I can't do them sick...
