thiswas my first try at making an oil pastel drawing in the past while. uhh. please make no note of how much it might seem edited. there were some very bad mistakes - as youd expect from a first try - enough that i wanted to salvage some of it.

i was very pleased with the sky. oil pastels are kind of awesome for making thick swathes of color, especially when it comes to vibrant sky blues. and it was really fun figuring out the negative space for the clouds. the 'hare in the field' piece that came after was my second attempt at this concept, if it looks similar, but it turned into something else.
