the idea came to mind and i thought it was really cute so i went for it. i had trouble rendering it while traveling, since the PC i was borrowing is pretty ancient (with failing RAM and motherboard) and i didn't want to do anything too scary to it. i managed to render it properly when i got home with very little need for post-processing.

i think i got the whole of it done in one sitting. i hadn't yet properly modeled forest (the 'swifty' in this piece) until this moment, but their design is simple enough that i wasn't too worried and managed to get through unscathed!
