How many usernames have you had? (You don't have to share them!)
Just the one here on Sheezy.Art.
What does your current username mean?
It has a double meaning. First it came from one of my very first original characters, who has used the phoenix as a personal mantra for his life. No matter what happens, he chooses to rise beyond it.
I also have used it as a reminder for my own life that when the fires come, I can still rise from the ashes and be amazing.
What is the first program you used to make digital art?
I don't remember the name of the first program, but I loved it, until you couldn't get it free anymore. Then I went to Gimp.
Where did you first start posting your art?
DeviantArt.
What is the first piece of media you drew fanart for?
That I have online, it was Sessoumaru and Inuyasha Christmas art from 2006. I'm sure I have older art somewhere else though.
Who was your first self-insert/persona/fursona? What did they mean to you?
I created an elf from a story a friend and I were creating together, years ago. She was the only character I ever based on myself, and she outgrew me, for which I'm grateful.
Who is your current self-insert/persona/fursona? How are they different to your first?
None.
What/who inspired you to be an artist?
My oldest sister and my mom were my art inspirations. One of my other sisters encouraged me to write.
What tools are integral to your current workflow? (e.g. Programs, brushes, references.)
I use Gimp for editing and digital art, but I'm more of a traditional artist (markers, colored pencils, crayons, ink pens, gel pens, etc., are my main mediums).
