This was something I had in the back of my mind for a while where I wanted to draw fanarts of certain game developers themed after animals with references to the games they worked on. Sanzaru Games is one of those said devs I wanted to doodle and here's the list of references:
- Ninja Reflex = The bamboo and orange/yellow colors in the background is a callback to the front cover of Sanzaru's first ever video game.
- Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time = The Sanzaru Monkey being a sneaky thief like everyone's favorite ring-tailed raccoon!
- Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal/Fire and Ice = The monkey's wearing Sonic's scarf... or maybe he STOLE IT!
- Spyro: Year of the Dragon (Reiginited) = The Sanzaru Monkey has stolen a dragon egg! (That sneaky simian better watch out for a little dragon!)
