The sigil on Michel's coat is a mark of his power to paralyze and manipulate others (much like Kuroji and Aoji's symbols on their jackets.) The black part of the coat never usually looks like it does now unless he's angry and/or attacking. And Michel is almost always in an irritated mood (just about anything will set him off lol)

His last name is fake and is an attempt on his part to seem more important and powerful lol~ Michel's actual last name is unknown as he discarded it after he stopped being human a long time ago (and the fact that he was originally human is a secret; he'd never let anyone else know about it. Only his housemates know this for obvious reasons.)
