This is very much me gushing, but I've noticed that my immediate reaction to finishing an art piece is... "oh I gotta upload this to sheezy". Which is a kind of thought I haven't had in over half a decade at this point.
I've become a bit of a social recluse online ever since DA fell off. I never really like microblogging platforms, even the alternatives like bluesky or mastodon. They always felt like a competition for attention, something I didn't really wanted to participate in.
It might be because this site is in it's infancy, but it doesn't feel that way here? It's been super, super nice to have people like (or comment) on artwork of my own OCs. Whereas on other platforms I'd only really be able to get noticed with fanart, and I'm not a fandom person.
So that little impulse to post art on here means a tremendous amount to me. Even if it gets little to no attention, I still feel good having just posted it. And that's wonderful I think. I should toss some money to the devs, I really want this site to stay alive.

teeth (mostly for braces)

this one random local venison steak I had in a restaurant on the isle of skye. it was so good. it was SO good. i will never achieve peak food like that ever again
