I began laughing to myself about this abandoned fanfic series I wrote back in 2018 where I pulled a Pooh's Adventures on both BFDI (back when BFB was the current season) and a handful of iconic RPG Maker games.
The stories were super formulaic (and outright repetitive at certain points), there were way too many characters involved, and from what I remember each the games I had the teams be in made zero sense, like Golf Ball's team being in a game based around magic and witches. However in the case with iance and bleh's stories, I removed the game's original protagonist entirely.
It also didn't help that I attempted to put each of the stories in a timeline and it got super inconsistent within the third (albeit unfinished) story.
Looking back, I guess even 17 year old me knew the series would go south by around the 4th story or so, and didn't touch on it ever again.
