A fanart piece for Star vs. the Forces of Evil, one of my favorite Disney animated shows! This illustration features one of my favorite characters from the show [and one of my comfort characters], Eclipsa, the Queen of Darkness. She stands facing off to the right next to a spade-shaped window revealing her favorite part of Mewni Castle, the rose garden. Eclipsa wears a long, ruffled, violet-colored dress decorated most on the skirt. The three layers each have a revolving blue-and-red spade pattern with black four-point stars in between and lavender stripes along the bottom, starting and ending at the long slit that goes up near the top of her thigh. Flaring from either side of her skirt is the dark magic she practices with in the show, complete with four-point star and butterfly motifs, as seen when she casts spells. Though mostly obscured by her head and chest, Eclipsa carries the Butterfly Royal Magic Wand, which takes the shape of a stylish umbrella for her.
