I'm not really sure if what I was going for came through.

Context:
When Dick first saw Barbara walking down the street, he thought she was the hottest molly he'd ever seen, and proposed on the spot. Obviously, Barbara said no, however, she thought it was hilarious, and encouraged him to "prove himself" to her, and so, he tried just that. He showed off and flirted, serving as great entertainment for Barbara, though she was pretty sure she'd never fall for him, and, likely, anybody else. He eventually became aware she was Batgirl, and didn't remember her from when he was Robin, and from there, they became close friends. Barbara enjoyed acting aloof, and, when he wasn't serving as entertainment, she did sometimes ignore him, though she made sure he didn't become discouraged. Eventually, however, after a few months or so, Barbara did warm up to him more, eventually developing a crush when they were the Gotham Knights, which she was very unsure of how to deal with, and continued to act uninterested in him for some time.
