Art from early April
Kinda generic, but most of my theme song type things are like that.

"Is it me against myself?
I feel like someone else
'Cause I can't find my way back home
And I don't wanna do it alone"
Context:
Bruce spent so much time stuffing his emotions down, pushing others away, and trying to present drastically different ways to different groups, that he ended up breaking himself, and hurting everyone around him. Batman had to surrender himself to Gotham, Bruce had to come off as different from Batman as possible, and eventually, he no longer knew who was the "real" him, and usually defaulted to Batman, though when interacting with Harvey, Selina, and sometimes Tim, he acted closer to how he presents as Bruce, but with less energy. Because of being a vigilante, he had no social life, the few friends he had having terrible fates, and he didn't interact with the other superheroes much, either. His love life was even worse, everyone he was into being criminals, and therefore, not anyone he could pursue. Because of pushing others away, his failed love life, and even the terrible way he treated his children, he ended up terribly alone, though deep down, longed to have others in his life.
