Context:
Tim's favorite moments were when he could just cuddle up to Bernard, listening to him talk for hours about whatever wild conspiracy theories he'd heard floating around. He found Bernard's voice very calming, and absorbed every word despite looking like he wasn't paying attention. He didn't have to worry about saying anything, or focusing on his own troubles. Just listening, nothing and nobody waiting to cause him harm.
