A little throwback to the very first thing I drew using FireAlpaca, which I won't bother to upload here, but you can have a look at that on my Tumblr, which I hardly use, to see how much I've improved since then. It's the same character with their design changed slightly, mainly the wings and head areas. This time I actually added a proper background for once.

DDD (They/Them) is technically short for Denny Dark Doom, Denny being the name of my ex boyfriend's OC and Dark Doom used to be my username which was a reference to my former best friend's OC Damon. You see, I've created this character over a decade ago. Their sibling, Stephen Helterloth Destiny, is always shortened into SHD, so I'll do the same with DDD and forget about what it used to stand for.

SHD and DDD both had a crush on the same cypro, Sarah, fighting for their affection for most of their adolescence. Not long after Sarah had an egg with SHD, they died from unknown causes, which kickstarted DDD's interest in the reanimation of deceased Cyborg Prophondos. They studied the anatomy of Clockwork Cypros, which bear the highest amount of mechanical parts as opposed to biological ones and eventually came across their works. These timekeepers could tell, that DDD's soul was destined to become one of the most powerful beings known to them, however they also explained this wouldn't happen until after DDD's death, once their soul was reborn within a new vessel. DDD didn't take the news of their inevitable death well at all, first attacked their Clockwork friends, then immediately returned to their research regarding reanimation. Desperate they began to work towards turning themself into a lich, to remove all that is biological about them so their mind could continue to live on within the same body even after their soul had left their body. Eventually they met Spencer, which they recognised as their SHD's and Sarah's offspring. Spencer had no idea about their shared family, befriending them as a fellow outcast, oblivious about the sinister plans DDD had in mind for them, namely to turn them into a lich prototype before trying the same procedure on themself. As the holder of a soul that could desolve biological material, the process fell easy to them all the way through, turning Spencer into Spareparts, with the help of the body of another deceased cypro. Not long after DDD felt confident enough to make the jump from cyborg to full on robot, losing their soul, but not their mind, for the most part. They continued to live, but the desire to regain their soul began to burn inside of them...

A Cypro (Cyborg Prophondo) is a biomechanical entity, a species that existed since the first era. They're highly adaptive, capable of evolving over time as single entities by consuming different kinds of materials. Their appearances are therefore not only dependent on their genetics, but also their diet. Cypros have no issues replacing missing limbs, since they're able to build prosthetics which can grow into and become part of their bodies. Usually Cypros are capable of walking both quadrupedally and bipedally, though individuals exist that possess additonal limbs. As a prophondo species they are born having an easy time syncing their bodies with their souls, thus they hardly need any training to use their souls' abilities. Many even choose to grow their bodies in a way that supports whatever ability their souls have given them.

To reproduce any two or more cypros can come together to exchange DNA to build offsprings within their bodies. All cypros are able to give DNA and receive it too. The duration of the pregnancy depends on how long a cypro takes to consume enough materials to build their offspring's body with. Usually cypros raise their puppies alone or in groups building strong family bonds. Breeding happens rather rarely, a cypro may live for centuries without bothering to reproduce since their bodies don't fall apart with age, but continue to renew themselves.
