What was Chilchuck looking for in the Dungeon, even before he joined the Touden party?

I figured it'd be fun for this piece to make the composition uncomfortable- So I figured that having his iris almost have a tangent with the lock, but not quite, would make it feel more uncomfortable- his eye is clearly part of it, even if he's trying to have distance. Chilchuck says he keeps his work and personal life separate, but... He doesn't seem to be able to ever completely disconnect from work. Inspired by this retro london metro flier
