Ngl while drawing this i sorta realized that lavender and miracle's relationship dynamic is pretty much just the one panty and stocking have (from what i've seen, i've never watched the anime but i like the artstyle)

While they're not sisters like the ladder (miracle and lavender are best friends and roommates) one is more bombastic and crazy while one's more collected and mature....but they're both kinda uncouth (...is that the right word?) They both exude mean girl energy, yanno? They even have similar-ish designs lol (one's got blonde hair and the other is some type of goth with a purple color palette and bangs)
