In my rewrite: moeko is wasian and used to live in america, back in america: she lived in a really woodsy area and her family would have campfires ALL THE TIME!!! One day the family had to move to japan for moeko's dad's job and they all had to stay in a small apartment, this made moeko PISSED and caused her to become rebellious and start setting stuff on fire to remind herself of what her life used to be. After her death: her little sister, yui, would later go on to become the mother of osana najimi

Y'know, considering my art style hasn't changed in YEARS: part of me feels as though i haven't improved since around the time these redesigns were made; but when i look at this and all the flaws (the tiny hands, the stiff legs, etc) i feel reassured that i actually HAVE gotten better :P
