...also is it just me or isn't it kinda misogynistic how when they had finally decided on pinky being a girl, they just made her entire personality just being girly and having a weird yandere crush on pacman? Like, back in the 80's and 90's when she was predominantly depicted as male in pacman media: she was treated like any other ghost. Yet when they made her female in the 2000's, they just turned her into the token girl character, just there to say shit like "OH EM GEE YOU'RE GONNA SMEAR MY MASCARA TEEHEE 🥰🥰🥰" like i get that there isn't much you can do with characters who started out as generic video game enemies, but COME ON!!! The other ghosts have at least SOME nuance to their personality!! I feel like it's the forced crush that bugs me the most. It'd be one thing to make her girly but she REALLY didn't need to have a crush on pacman!!! It really shows how male-centered the franchise is.
