It always kinda bugged me how alastor is supposed to be a black man yet he doesn't have any black features so i decided to incorporate that into miss doris here (though i DID try to shape her afro into a sort of scene haircut like what alastor has)

I chose the name "doris" because that's what came up when i googled "common female names 1930's" though if you REALLY wanted to, you could interpret it as a pun on "doe" (as in like, a female deer)

Also fun fact: doris liking salt is a nod to how deer are drawn to salt licks (also the part about her being a perfectionist and putting pressure on herself is a nod to alastor's massive ego)
