Hello! I wanted to talk about art block, because it has affected me a lot
during my art journey, and maybe even you're! Whether it be writing,
character design, game design(background design, story, ect),
any type of area of the art, it may have been a bit,well,
overwhelming! Not being able to come up with any new ideas is very dis-
heartening, and more so if you really wanted to do art.
I'm sure there are a lot of ways to get your mind workin' up
a storm to draw, but here are some ways I deal with art blocks!

• This might not work for everyone, and
  that is perfectly fine! You can come up with whatever works
  best for you and your art. I am no professional, just some person
  on the internet, so take my advice with a grain of salt!

My usual ways to "cure" art block

• |1| Taking a break:
  I usually get an art block when I draw something I REALLY like, and it comes out great,
  but then i try to do it again, and it blows. It comes out wonky and I want to quit,
  but you have to just take a break, relax a bit (it's hard, i know) and walk away.
  Maybe eat, or have a snack, or watch a movie or how you were wanting to watch but couldn't
  because you wanted to get your art done, but all i have to say is just take a break,maybe go outside
  and touch grass, then come back and look at it differently, maybe go outside your comfort
  zone! I bet it will be great.

• |2| Pinterest:
  Pinterest is a great way to get ideas, whether it be for a character you want to make but its just not
  looking the way you want it to and your so focused in on one single idea on how it should look, maybe
  go to pinterest to branch out your idea, for either a room for your character, to a pose you would
  have never thought to draw! You can draw anything, just do it.

• |3| Don't think too hard, nothing is perfect:
  I know you might be a perfectionist, we all are sometimes, but you have to just do what you want,
  as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. ( I say this as not everything should be drawn, so please be mindful of that)
  Procrastination is not something you should do, I may be wrong, but so far i haven't been told it helps

• |4| NEVER COMPARE YOUR ART TO OTHERS.
  This is a horrible thing to do, it doesn't help your art, let alone your health. I have done it so many times
  in the pats, and have gotten mad that I wasn't as good as others. The reality of that is, yes, someone
  will always be better or more experienced, but the thing is, they might think the same thing about some
  artist, or think your art is better then theirs. It's a disney channel life lesson but, well, its true. The thing is,
  you can improve, and maybe even be just as good as the people that you admire. The point is, don't
  stop drawing because you think you'll never be good,
